Beef And Pork Chow Mein

Ingredients
  Ground beef 1⁄2 Pound
  Ground pork 1⁄2 Pound
  Onion 1 Medium, sliced and separated into rings
  Green pepper 1 Medium, cut into thin strips
  Sliced celery 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Soy sauce 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Instant beef bouillon granules 1 Teaspoon
  Ground ginger 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Chow mein vegetables 16 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Canned sliced water chestnuts 8 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Hot cooked chow mein noodles 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Or Warmed)
Directions

In 2-quart casserole combine meats, onion, green pepper, and celery.
Cover; cook at HIGH for 7 minutes till sausage is thoroughly done and vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring twice.
Add more cooking time, if necessary.
Drain fat; set meat mixture aside.
In 4-cup measure blend soy, cornstarch, bouillon, ginger, and 1 1/2 cups water.
Cook at HIGH for 4 1/2 minutes till thickened, stirring after 2 minutes, then every minute.
Add soy mixture, chow mein vegetables, and water chestnuts to meat.
Cook at HIGH for 3 minutes till hot, stirring once.
Serve over noodles.
