Steamed Pork With Szechwan Preserved Vegetables

Ingredients
  Boneless pork 4 Ounce, finely chopped
  Chopped water chestnuts 1 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Fresh root ginger slice 3 , crushed and chopped
  Chinese rice wine 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Water 1 Tablespoon
  Szechwan preserved vegetables slices 5 , cut 1/8 inch thick
Directions

Mix the pork with the water chestnuts, salt, ginger, wine and water.
Put the vegetable slices on top of the meat mixture.
Put the bowl in a bamboo steamer set in a wok or pan over boiling water, cover the steamer and cook for 30 minutes.
Alternatively, place the bowl on a trivet in a large saucepan with boiling water under the trivet and steam, covered, for 30 minutes.
