Chinese Style Spareribs

Ingredients
  Chicken stock 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Dark soy sauce 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Hoisin sauce 3 Tablespoon
  Sherry 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic 4 Clove (20 gm), mashed
  Spareribs 16 , cut into 2 inch pieces
Directions

Combine all ingredients except ribs in shallow baking dish just large enough to accommodate ribs in single layer .
Add ribs, turning to coat evenly.
Cover and marinate overnight in refrigerator Preheat oven to 375°F.
Bake ribs in sauce 15 minutes.
Reduce oven to 300°F, turn ribs and bake an additional 15 minutes.
Transfer ribs to rack set over baking sheet and return to oven to crisp (or run under broiler 2 minutes to brown).
