Chinese Prawns with Bacon
|Shelled prawns||4 Ounce (Frozen Canned Or Fresh)|
|Oil||2 Tablespoon (For Frying)|
|Bamboo shoots||1 Ounce|
|Soy sauce||1 Teaspoon (Leveled)|
|Rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Chop the prawns finely and spread on to the bacon rashers.
Roll up tightly, coat with cornflour and dip in egg, then fry until brown in the hot oil turning as necessary.
Remove to a hot serving dish and keep warm.
To make the sauce, slice the onion, bamboo shoots and mushrooms and brown in the oil in the frying pan.
Mix the cornflour smoothly with the soy sauce and stock then pour into the pan.
Simmer gently for 3 minutes and pour over the bacon rolls.
Serve hot, on a bed of rice.
