Chinese Fried Rice With Green Peas

Ingredients
  Long grain rice 8 Ounce, soaked in cold water for 30 minutes and drained (250 Gram)
  Water 16 Fluid Ounce (500 Milliliter)
  Salt To Taste
  Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
  Onions 2 Medium, finely chopped
  Cooked ham 8 Ounce, finely chopped (250 Gram)
  Peas 2 Tablespoon, cooked (Petits Pois)
  Tomatoes 2 Medium, peeled and quartered
  Shrimps 8 Ounce, deveined (Shelled Weight, 250 Gram)
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Egg 1 , lightly beaten
Directions

Put the rice, water and 1 teaspoon salt in a saucepan and bring to the boil.
Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, or until all the water has been absorbed.
Remove from the heat.
Heat the oil in another saucepan.
Add the onions and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
Add the ham, peas, tomatoes, shrimps and salt to taste and cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
Stir in the rice and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
Add the soy sauce and egg and cook, stirring, for a further 2 minutes.
Transfer the fried rice mixture to a warmed serving bowl and serve immediately or keep warm until required.
