|Cake flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cooking oil||2 Tablespoon|
Sift together flour, sugar, cornstarch, and dash salt.
Add oil and egg white; stir till smooth.
Add 1 tablespoon water; mix well.
Make one cookie at a time.
Pour 1 tablespoon batter onto lightly greased skillet or griddle, spreading batter to 3 1/2-inch circle.
Cook over low heat 4 minutes or till lightly browned.
With wide spatula, lift and turn; cook 1 minute more.
Working quickly, place cookie on potholder or oven mitt.
Put fortune in center; fold cookie in half and fold again over edge of bowl.
Place in muffin pan to cool.
