Sesame Noodles

Chinese tradition has it to eat long noodles on New Year’s day, symbolizing long life. Enjoy these easy to make delicious cold sesame noodles this New Year.
Ingredients
  Scallion 2 , sliced
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Ginger 1 Teaspoon, sliced
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Hot sauce To Taste
  Sesame oil 1 Tablespoon
  Rice wine vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Peanut oil 1 Tablespoon
  Chunky peanut butter 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Sesame seeds 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Noodles 100 Gram, cooked
Directions

GETTING READY
1. In a pot pour in the water and boil. Add in the noodles and cook according to package instruction.
2. Strain the noodles and keep aside.

MAKING
3. In a blending jar add in scallions, garlic, fresh ginger root, soy sauce, hot sauce, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, sugar, peanut oil, peanut butter and sesame seeds and blend.
4. Add in cold water and continue blending.
5. In a large glass bowl add in the noodles and toss with the sauce.

SERVING
6. Garnish with julienne scallions, fresh cilantro, peanuts and serve.
