Cantonese Style Beef & Green Beans

Ingredients
  Rice 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Branded)
  Water 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Beef round 1 Pound, partially frozen
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Garlic salt 1 Teaspoon
  Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
  Frozen cut green beans 9 Ounce, thawed (1 Package)
  Sliced celery 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Green onions 6 , cut in 1 inch lengths
  Sliced pimiento 2 Ounce (1 Jar)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Cook rice with 2-1/2 cups water, salt and butter or margarine according to package directions.
Slice meat in very thin strips.
In a large bowl, combine 1 tablespoon cornstarch, soy sauce, sugar and garlic salt.
Add meat; mix well.
Heat oil in a large skillet.
Add meat and cornstarch mixture.
Cook and stir over high heat until meat is browned, about 3 to 4 minutes.
Add green beans.
Stir and cook 5 minutes.
Add celery, green onions and pimiento; stir.
Combine 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 1 cup water.
Pour over vegetables.
Cook until sauce is thickened.
