|Spareribs||4 Pound, cut into serving pieces|
|Soy sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Orange marmalade||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Garlic powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground ginger||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
In a shallow roasting pan, place ribs meaty side down.
Roast at 450° for 30 minutes.
Remove meat from oven; drain excess fat from ribs.
Turn ribs meaty side up.
Lower oven temperature to 350°; continue roasting ribs for 1 hour.
Combine in a small bowl, soy-sauce, 3/4 cup water, orange marmalade, garlic powder, ginger, and pepper; blend thoroughly.
Pour over the ribs; roast for 30 minutes longer or till tender, basting ribs occasionally with the sauce.
