Chinese Pepper Beef
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned beef broth||13 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Rice||3 Cup (48 tbs) (Branded)|
|Onion||1 Medium, sliced|
|Soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground ginger||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Green pepper||1 , cut into strips|
|Cherry tomatoes||12 , cut in halves|
In a large skillet, brown beef; drain.
Add water to beef broth to make 3 cups liquid.
Blend in cornstarch.
Add liquid with cornstarch, rice, onion, soy sauce, salt and ginger to beef.
Bring to a boil.
Simmer until all liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes.
Stir in green pepper and tomatoes.
