Cider Enhanced Sweet And Sour Sauce
|Packed dark brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Pineapple juice||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Cider vinegar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped|
1. Stir brown sugar and cornstarch together in a 1-quart glass bowl. Gradually add pineapple juice and stir mixture until completely smooth. Stir in remaining ingredients.
2. Microwave, uncovered, at Time Cook (power level 7) for 5 to 6 minutes, or until sauce is bubbly and thickened, stirring 3 times.
