Chinese Fried Rice

Ingredients
  Rice 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Brand)
  Water 3 1⁄4 Cup (52 tbs)
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vegetable oil 3 Tablespoon
  Eggs 2 , beaten
  Sliced green onion with tops 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cooked pork/Chicken / beef 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), cut in short julienne strips
  Cooked ham 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), cut in short julienne strips
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Monosodium glutamate 1⁄4 Teaspoon (If Desired)
Directions

Cook rice with water and 1-1/2 teaspoon salt according to package directions, omitting butter; chill thoroughly.
Heat 1/2 of the oil in a large skillet.
Add eggs.
Cook 1 minute, stirring slightly.
Remove from pan.
Spread on a flat plate in a thin layer and cool.
Cut into thin strips.
Add remaining oil to skillet and heat.
Add onions and meat.
Cook and stir just until heated.
Add cold rice; stir well to coat rice with oil.
Stir in eggs and remaining ingredients; heat thoroughly.
