Chinese New Year Cakes

  All purpose flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2 , beaten
  Water/Milk 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Cooking oil 1 Tablespoon
  Sesame seed 1 7⁄8 Ounce
  Cooking oil 2 Tablespoon (for deep fat frying)

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Stir together eggs, water or milk, and the 1 tablespoon cooking oil.
Add flour mixture all at once and stir just till moistened.
Drop batter by tablespoonfuls into bowl of sesame seed; turn to coat.
Place sesame-coated cakes on waxed paper.
Let stand 15 minutes.
Fry, several at a time, in deep hot oil (365°) for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes or till puffy and golden.
Drain on paper toweling.
