|Cake flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Baking powder||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Granulated sugar replacement||3 Teaspoon|
|Dates||1 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped|
|Walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Sift together cake flour, baking powder, sugar replacement, and salt.
Add dates and walnuts.
Slowly add water and stir to make a soft dough.
Spread in well greased 8 in. (20 cm) sq. pan.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 40 minutes.
Score into 1 in. (2.5 cm) squares while warm.
