Chinese Spare Ribs Sauce

It is no wonder that Chinese Sparerib Sauce is my favorite meat sauce This sauce makes my pork and chicken preparation absolutely irresistable. You really have to try this yummy Chinese Sparerib Sauce sauce!
Ingredients
  Salad oil 2 Tablespoon
  Green onions 2 , sliced
  Brown sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Soy sauce 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Dry sherry 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Ground ginger 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

1. In 1-quart saucepan over medium heat, in hot salad oil, cook green onions until tender and lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
2. Stir in brown sugar, soy sauce, sherry, cornstarch, ginger, and salt. Cook over medium-high heat until mixture boils and thickens slightly; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Refrigerate sauce if not using right away.
3. Use sauce to brush on pork spareribs, pork chops, or chicken or turkey parts during cooking.
