The Sesame Bows is a yummy snack that my kids love munching in every now and then. They are easy to prepare and can be stored up for the kids. Try the Sesame Bows!
All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Salt 1 Pinch
Black sesame seeds/Sesame seeds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Egg 1
Bean curd square 1⁄2 (3 Inch)
  Milk 2 Teaspoon
Vegetable oil 3 Cup (48 tbs) (For Deep Frying)

Sift together flour, sugar and salt into a large bowl.
Add sesame seeds; mix well.
Beat egg slightly in a small bowl.
Use a spoon to break up bean curd.
Add to egg; mix well.
Add egg mixture to flour mixture.
Knead to mix well.
Dough should be soft.
If too dry, knead in 1 to 2 teaspoons milk.
Cover with a damp towel and let stand 30 minutes.
Place dough on a floured surface.
Use a rolling pin to roll out dough to a long 1/8-inch thick sheet.
Use a sharp knife to cut dough into 3" X 1-1/2" strips.
Make three 1-1/2-inch slits lengthwise in the middle of each strip.
To make a bow, pull one end through the middle slit.
Heat 3 cups oil in a wok over medium-high heat to 350°F (175°C).
Reduce heat to low and carefully lower several bows into hot oil with a slotted metal spoon.
Fry several at a time 3 minutes.
Increase heat to high and fry 1 minute longer until golden brown.
Remove with slotted spoon, drain and cool on paper towels.
