Buddha Congee is a typical rice porridge dish which comes from China. Buddha Congee stands high on the nutritional aspect and also does not lose out on its taste. You should be checking this out!
Ingredients
  Dried scallops 4
  Dried shrimp 6
  Rice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Stock 6 Cup (96 tbs)
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Chicken 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sherry 2 Tablespoon
Directions

1. Separately soak dried scallops and dried shrimp.
2. Wash rice. Place in a pan with stock and bring to a boil; then simmer, covered, 30 minutes.
3. Shred soaked scallops; mince soaked shrimp. Add both to rice and simmer, covered, 30 minutes more.
4. Mince raw chicken; then combine with oil. Add to pan and simmer, covered, another 30 minutes.
5. Season with salt, sherry and pepper.
