Sweet And Sour Sauce
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|White wine vinegar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Prepared mustard||2 Tablespoon|
|Ground ginger||1 Teaspoon|
|Crushed pineapple||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), undrained|
|Pineapple juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine sugar and vinegar in a small saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat; stir in mustard, ginger, and pineapple.
Combine cornstarch and juice, stirring until blended.
Gradually stir about one fourth of hot mixture into cornstarch mixture; add to remaining hot mixture, stirring constantly.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened.
