Bean curd cake
3 , soaked for 1 hour and drained
1⁄2 , peeled
Light soy sauce
Cut the bean curd cake up into 1/2 by 1 inch pieces.
Slice the mushrooms.
Slice the onion.
Lightly brown the bean curd in the hot peanut oil in a wok or frying pan.
Saute the yellow onion in the same pan.
Add the bean curd and mushrooms, and cook for a moment.
Add the brown sugar, sherry, soy sauce, and oyster sauce.
Simmer for 1 minute more.
