Chinese Barbecued Spareribs

Chinese Barbecued Spareribs is an irresistible side dish that you simply can't resist. Try this Chinese Barbecued Spareribs dish; I am sure you will have a huge fan following for this one!
Ingredients
  Spareribs 4 Pound
  Soy sauce 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Red wine 3 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), mashed
Directions

1. Score the meat between the ribs, but do not cut all the way through.
2. Place the meat in a large bowl. Combine the remaining ingredients and pour over the ribs. Let stand one hour, turning once. Remove the meat from the marinade. Reserve the liquid.
3. Place the ribs on a grill over medium coals and cook about one and one-half hours. Turn the meat frequently and brush with the marinade. Cut with scissors into individual ribs, if desired.
Spareribs may be baked and basted in a roasting pan in a moderate (350° F.) oven for one and one-half hours.
