Ingredients
  Boneless pork/750 gram 1 2⁄3 Pound
  Honey 20 Milliliter, combined with 1.5 tablespoon hot water (1 1/2 Tablespoon)
  Marinade 1
  Soy sauce 45 Milliliter (3 Tablespoon)
  Dry sherry 30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)
  Hoisin sauce 60 Milliliter
  Five spice powder 1 Teaspoon (5 Milliliter)
  Sesame paste 1 Teaspoon (5 Milliliter)
  Brown sugar 1 Teaspoon (5 Milliliter)
  Ginger slice 1
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Vegetable oil 45 Milliliter (3 Tablespoon)
  Red food coloring 1 Dash
Directions

1 To Make Marinade: Combine marinade ingredients in bowl.
2 Cut pork into strips 1/4 x 6 inches (3 x15 cm). Pierce all over with a skewer. Add to marinade, stirring to coat. Let stand 1 hour or overnight in refrigerator.
3 Roast pork Chinese style on a rack over a pan of water at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes. Baste with marinade. Reduce heat to 350°F (180°C). Roast a further 10 minutes.
4 Brush pork with honey mixture on each side, and continue cooking for 10 minutes.
5 Slice pork thinly.
