Longan And Loquats Delight

  Canned loquats 15 Ounce
  Canned longan 15 Ounce
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Unflavored gelatin 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon (1.5 Package)
  Cold water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

Remove the fruit from both cans and save the juice.
Cut the loquats in half and mix them with the longan.
Divide the fruit among 8 small custard cups.
Heat the juice from both cans and dissolve 1/4 cup sugar in it.
Dissolve the gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water and add it to the hot syrup; mix well.
Fill each cup with this syrup and chill in the refrigerator until set (several hours).
To unmold before serving, place each cup in a flat pan filled with 1 inch (2.5 cm)of very hot water for a few seconds.
Then immediately turn onto a dessert plate to unmold.
