|Cubed veal||1⁄2 Pound|
|Cubed pork||1⁄2 Pound|
|Vegetable shortening||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Celery||1 Cup (16 tbs), cut into 1 inch pieces|
|Beef stock/Beef bouillon||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Bean sprouts||1 Can (10 oz)|
Combine flour and salt; add meat cubes and toss lightly to coat.
Brown in hot vegetable shortening in Dutch oven; add onion and continue browning.
Stir in celery, beef stock, soy, and molasses.
Cover and cook over low heat for 25 minutes.
Add bean sprouts; cook 15 minutes more.
Thicken with additional flour, if necessary.
