Chinese Beef And Pea Pods
|Flank steak||1 1⁄2 Pound, thinly sliced diagonally across grain (1 Or 2)|
|Cooking oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Green onions||1 Bunch (100 gm), chopped|
|Frozen chinese pea pods||7 Ounce, partially thawed to separate (1 Or 2 Packages)|
|Condensed beef consomme||11 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Soy sauce||3 Tablespoon|
|Ground ginger||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Brown meat in hot oil in a large heavy skillet.
Remove and keep warm.
Put the green onions and pea pods into skillet.
Stir in a mixture of consomme, soy sauce, and ginger.
Bring to boiling and cook, covered, about 2 minutes.
Mix a blend of cornstarch and water into boiling liquid in skillet.
Stirring constantly, boil 2 to 3 minutes.
Mix in the meat and bean sprouts; heat thoroughly.
