Chili Cheese Strata
|Lean ground beef||1 Pound|
|Green onion||1 , chopped|
|Canned kidney beans||8 Ounce, drained|
|Chopped green chilies||2 Tablespoon|
|Chili powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Eggs||3 , lightly beaten|
|Shredded colby cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Around 4 Ounces)|
|Shredded monterey jack cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Around 4 Ounces)|
Combine beef, green onion, and pepper in 1-quart microproof casserole.
Cook on HI, 5 minutes.
Stir in kidney beans, chilies, and chili powder.
Place butter in 2-cup glass measure.
Cook on HI, 30 seconds.
Stir in flour.
Gradually add milk and eggs.
Cook on 80, 2 1/2 to 3 minutes, or until mixture thickens, stirring once.
Place half the meat mixture in 2-quart microproof casserole.
Cover with half the cheese.
Repeat layers of meat and cheese.
Pour white sauce over top layer, and sprinkle with paprika.
Cook on 70, 14 to 15 minutes, rotating dish once during cooking time.
Remove from oven.
Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
