Chili With Chorizo
Looking for a chili packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat? This is it. So simple to prepare, yet so satisfying to eat, my Chili with Chorizo has a most comforting blend of textures and spices that is sure to put a smile on your face!
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Chorizo sausage||1⁄2 Pound|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Garlic||3 Clove (15 gm), minced|
|Black beans||2 Can (20 oz), drained|
|Petite diced tomatoes in juice||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Chili powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Tomato juice||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
Brown the beef and chorizo in a heavy pot. Drain off any excess fat.
Add the onion and garlic and cook until just soft.
Add the remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 45 minutes. Serve hot.
