Best Ever Chili
|Ground beef||2 Pound|
|Chopped onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped green pepper||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sliced celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned red kidney beans||31 Ounce (2 Cans, 15 1/2 Ounce Each)|
|Canned tomatoes||32 Ounce, cut up (2 Cans, 16 Ounce Each)|
|Tomato paste||6 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Chili powder||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
In Dutch oven cook beef, onion, green pepper, and celery till meat is brown and vegetables' are tender.
Drain kidney beans, reserving liquid.
Add beans and remaining ingredients.
Cover; simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
If desired, stir in some reserved bean liquid to make desired consistency.
