Hominy Chili Casserole

Ingredients
  Whole white hominy 1 3⁄4 Pound, drained (2 Large Cans)
  Grated onion 3 Tablespoon
  Sour cream/Cream sauce 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Shredded jack cheese 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Canned peeled green chilies 6 , rinsed of seeds, cut in small pieces
  Salt To Taste
  Fine dry crumbs 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Mixed With Butter)
  Melted butter 3 Teaspoon
Directions

Mix hominy carefully with onion, sour cream or cream sauce, jack cheese, green chilies, and salt to taste.
Put into a 2 1/2 or 3-quart casserole, sprinkle the top with buttered bread crumbs, and bake, uncovered, in moderate oven (350°) about 30 minutes, or until heated through.
Set under the broiler to brown top.
Makes 12 servings.
