Western Chili

  Chili beans 1 Pound
  Fat 1 Tablespoon
  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Onions 2 Small, chopped
  Tomato puree 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Paprika 1 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Chili powder 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Red pepper 1 (2 Inch)

Wash the beans, then soak overnight in enough water to cover.
Drain and place in large saucepan, then cover with salted water.
Cook slowly until tender.
Heat fat in large skillet and add the beef and onions, then cook until brown, stirring with a fork.
Add the tomato puree and the beef mixture to the beans and mix well.
Stir in the seasonings and cover, then simmer for about 30 minutes.
