Spicy White Chili

Ingredients
  Onions 2 Medium, chopped
  Vegetable oil 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic 4 Clove (20 gm), minced
  Canned chopped green chilies 8 Ounce (2 Can)
  Ground cumin 2 Teaspoon
  Dried oregano 1 Teaspoon
  Cayenne pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Canned chicken broth 29 Ounce (2 Can)
  Cubed cooked chicken 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Canned great northern beans 46 Ounce, drained, rinsed (3 Can)
  Shredded monterey jack cheese 16 Ounce
Directions

In a 3-qt.saucepan, saute onions in oil until tender.
Stir in garlic, chilies, cumin, oregano, cayenne and cloves; cook and stir 2-3 minutes more.
Add broth, chicken and beans; simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
Remove from the heat.
Stir in cheese until melted.
Garnish with sour cream and jalapeno peppers if desired.
