Hearty Turkey Chili

  Chopped onions 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped green pepper 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  Vegetable oil 1 Tablespoon
  Ground raw turkey 2 Pound
  Canned tomatoes 29 Ounce, cut into bite size pieces (Two 14 1/2 Ounce Cans)
  Chili sauce 12 Ounce (1 Bottle)
  Chili powder 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon pepper seasoning 1 Teaspoon
  Dried basil leaves 1 Teaspoon, crushed
  Dried thyme leaves 1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed
  Hot pepper sauce 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Canned kidney beans 31 Ounce, drained (Two 15 1/2 Ounce Cans)
  Sliced green onions 1 Tablespoon
  Shredded cheddar cheese 1 Tablespoon
  Dairy sour cream/Plain yogurt 1 Tablespoon

In Dutch oven, sauté onions, green pepper and garlic in oil until tender.
Add turkey and cook until lightly browned.
Add tomatoes, chili sauce, chili powder, lemon pepper, basil, thyme and hot pepper sauce.
Cover; simmer 45 minutes.
Add kidney beans; simmer, covered, an additional 20 minutes.
Serve topped with green onions, cheese and sour cream.
