Chile Con Queso Chili Cheese Dip
|Finely chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Tomatoes||2 Medium, peeled, seeded and chopped|
|Canned green chili peppers||4 Ounce, rinsed, seeded and chopped (1 Can)|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Milk||2 Tablespoon (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
|Tortilla chips||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
In 1-quart casserole, cook onion in butter at HIGH for 2 minutes or till tender, stirring once.
Stir in tomatoes, chilies, and salt.
Cook, covered, at HIGH for 5 minutes.
Stir in cheese, a little at a time, stirring till melted.
Stir in a little milk if mixture becomes too thick.
Heat at HIGH 45 seconds.
