Microwave Beef Chili

  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped green pepper 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Lean ground beef 1 Pound
  Canned tomato sauce 1 Pound (1 Can)
  Canned tomatoes 1 Pound (1 Can, Whole/Stewed)
  Canned drained kidney beans 1 Pound (1 Can)
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chili powder 2 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dry mustard 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Monosodium glutamate 1⁄4 Teaspoon

In plastic collander in 2 qt glass casserole, combine onion, green pepper, and crumbled ground beef.
Microwave (high) 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.
Pour off drippings.
Transfer to glass.
Add tomato sauce, tomatoes, beans, salt, chili powder, pepper, mustard, and M.S.G.
Microwave (high), covered, 10-12 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking.
Rest, covered, 5 minutes.
