Chicken And Pea Pods

  Whole chicken breast 1 Medium, skinned, boned, and halved lengthwise
  Water 3 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 3 Tablespoon
  Grated ginger root 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Frozen pea pods 6 Ounce (1 Package)
  Sliced green onion 2 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 1 Teaspoon

Place each chicken breast half between two pieces of clear plastic wrap.
Pound with flat side of meat mallet to 1/4-inch thickness.
Remove plastic wrap; place chicken in shallow dish.
Combine water, soy sauce, and gingerroot; pour over chicken.
Cover and marinate in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Drain chicken; reserve marinade.
Broil chicken 3 to 4 inches from heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side, brushing with reserved marinade occasionally.
Cook pea pods and onion in boiling salted water according to directions on package.
Toss cooked vegetables with the butter or margarine; turn onto a platter.
Top with chicken pieces.
Garnish with lemon slices, if desired.
