Chicken Cheese Bake
|Frying chicken||1 , cut up|
|Cracker crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vegetable shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Condensed cheddar cheese soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Dry onion soup mix||5⁄8 Ounce (1/2 Envelope)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Coat chicken pieces with cracker crumbs.
In large skillet, brown chicken in hot vegetable shortening.
Remove chicken to 2 quart casserole or baking dish.
Combine cheese soup, onion soup mix, and milk; pour over chicken.
Sprinkle any remaining cracker crumbs over the top.
Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes, or until chicken is tender.
