Sweet-N-Smoky Oven-Barbecued Chicken
|Washington fryer||1 , cut up|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Large, sliced|
|Hickory smoked salt||1 Tablespoon|
Place chicken pieces, skin side up, in shallow baking pan.
Pour water around chicken.
Tuck onion slices in and around the chicken and sprinkle with hickory-smoked salt and pepper.
Bake, uncovered, at 370Â° F. for 30 minutes.
Pour barbecue sauce over chicken and bake 30 minutes longer or until done.
