Blushing Chicken

Ingredients
  Washington fryer breasts 4 , halved
  Monosodium glutamate 1 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Dry white wine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Red currant jelly 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Dairy sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Sprinkle MSG on chicken.
Heat butter or margarine in skillet.
Add chicken and cook at 360° F (moderate) until brown on all sides.
Add wine, cover and cook for 35 minutes at 300° F turning and basting frequently, approximately 30 minutes or until done.
Remove chicken.
Add sour cream and stir.
Heat thoroughly and pour over chicken.
