Chicken Livers Taipei

Ingredients
  Chicken livers 1 Pound, quartered
  Sesame oil 1 Dash
  Fat 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
  Lard 1 Tablespoon
  Minced onion 2 Tablespoon
  Ginger root 1 Tablespoon, thinly sliced
  Ketchup 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Fry the chicken livers in deep fat to a golden brown.
Heat the lard in a skillet and add the onion, gingerroot, and livers; heat and stir a few minutes.
Stir in the ketchup, sugar, and salt.
Heat the mixture 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add a dash of sesame oil.
