Honey Ginger Chicken recipe adapted from NY Times.Honey Ginger Chicken can be prepared in advanced ready to serve your spouse or his friends on demand.The cool thing about preparing things in advance is that you can be part of conversation rather than getting stuck in the kitchen.
  Chicken breast 1
  Chopped onion 4 Tablespoon
  Honey 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Reduced sodium soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Ginger 1 Tablespoon (Minced Or Grated)
  Garlic cloves 2 Medium, minced
  Sliced scallions 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)

Cut the breast in half and remove breastbone.
Combine the onion, honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and sherry.
Arrange chicken pieces in single layer, preferably in baking dish that can go into the oven as well as the freezer.
Spoon the marinade mixture evenly over chicken pieces.
Wrap for freezer and freeze.
To serve, return to room temperature and bake at 500 degrees for about 27 minutes.
Turn once or twice.
Run baking dish under broiler to brown, if necessary, but watch carefully or the chicken will burn and dry out.
Remove chicken.
Deglaze pan with three tablespoons water.
Serve with juices from bottom of the pan, which are especially good over the Chinese vermicelli.
Sprinkle with scallions.
