Savory Chicken

Ingredients
  Fat 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Onion 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Carrot 1 , chopped
  Turnip slice 1
  Flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Boiling water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Tomatoes 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), strained
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Paprika To Taste
  Chicken 3 Pound (1 Bird)
  Salt pork To Taste (As Required)
  Button mushrooms 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Olives 2 Tablespoon, chopped
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Start by cutting the chicken
MAKING
2.In a pan, sauté chopped onion, carrot, and turnip in melted fat to make a savory sauce
3.Now add flour gradually in the pan, also pour boiling water and add strained cooked tomato
4.Season with salt, pepper and paprika
5.Dredge the chicken in flour and saute in salt pork fat
6.Remove to a saucepan, cover with savory sauce and cook until tender
7.When done, add mushrooms, and chopped olives
8.Arrange the chicken on a platter and cover with savory sauce and garnish with hot spiced fruit and stuffed olives
SERVING
9.Serve with salads, vegetables, or garlic bread
