Chicken With Cheese
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chicken||3 Pound, cut into pieces (1 In Number)|
|Onion||1 Medium, minced|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed in a garlic press|
|Chicken broth||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Kasseri cheese||1⁄3 Pound, cut in thin slices|
Melt butter in a large skillet.
Brown chicken on all sides.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add rosemary, paprika, garlic, and chicken broth.
Simmer covered, about 40 minutes, or until chicken is tender.
Lay cheese slices on top of chicken.
Simmer, covered, 5 minutes more.
Serve at once.
