Ingredients
  Young chicken 1 , cut into serving pieces
  Bread crumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For Coatings)
  Egg flour/Corn meal 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For Coatings)
Directions

Wash chicken pieces and dry thoroughly.
Chicken may be , fried without coating or may be dipped into flour, bread crumbs and egg,or corn meal and flour.
Use a deep skillet and enough fat to make, 1/2, to 3/4 inch deep.
Brown chicken lightly in hot fat do not crowd pieces for best results.
Add a little water and cook slowly for 30 minutes to one hour, or until tender.
After browning lightly in hot fat, chicken may.
also be placed in a covered casserole and baked in slow-oven (250 F.) until tender, about 30 minutes to 1 hour
