Lemon Herbed Roasted Chicken
|Fryer chicken||4 Pound (Or Roasting Chicken)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon (Of 1 Lemon)|
|Parsley flakes/1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes||1 Tablespoon|
|Thyme leaf||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Rinse chicken well and pat dry; remove any excess fat.
Place onion in the cavity of the chicken and rub the skin with butter or margarine.
Place chicken in crock pot.
Squeeze the juice of the lemon over the chicken and sprinkle with remaining seasonings.
Cover and cook on low setting 8 to 10 hours.
