|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Onions||2 Medium, chopped|
|Sliced mushrooms||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chicken/Capon||1 , cut into pieces|
|Hot water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dairy sour cream/White wine||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Melt butter in a large skillet.
Add onion, mushrooms, and chicken pieces.
Stir fry until golden.
Add water, salt, and pepper.
Cover; cook over medium heat about 35 minutes, or until chicken is tender.
Blend flour, paprika (if desired), and sour cream.
Stir into liquid in skillet.
Bring just to boiling.
Simmer 3 minutes.
