Chicken A La King With Mushrooms
|Frozen peas package||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Minced onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chicken broth||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk/Light cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cooked diced chicken||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Canned sliced mushrooms||4 Ounce|
|Pimiento||2 Ounce, drained and chopped|
|Black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Cook peas as directed in chart .
Drain and set aside.
Place butter and onion in a 3 qt.glass casserole dish.
Cover and microwave 2 to 3 minutes or until tender.
Stir in flour until smooth.
Gradually stir in chicken broth and milk.
Microwave 4 to 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.
Add peas and remaining ingredients except patty shells.
Cover and microwave 5 to 7 minutes or until bubbly.
Stir once during cooking.
