Chicken A La King With Mushrooms

This Chicken A La King is absolutely delightful to pep up weekend family dinners. Enjoy as a side dish or otherwise, the Chicken A La King is sure to catch you by surprise and get you hooked to it.
  Frozen peas package 10 Ounce (1 Package)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Minced onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chicken broth 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Milk/Light cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cooked diced chicken 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Canned sliced mushrooms 4 Ounce
  Pimiento 2 Ounce, drained and chopped
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Patty shells 6

Cook peas as directed in chart .
Drain and set aside.
Place butter and onion in a 3 casserole dish.
Cover and microwave 2 to 3 minutes or until tender.
Stir in flour until smooth.
Gradually stir in chicken broth and milk.
Microwave 4 to 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.
Add peas and remaining ingredients except patty shells.
Cover and microwave 5 to 7 minutes or until bubbly.
Stir once during cooking.
