Chicken With Artichokes
|Whole chicken breasts||4 Medium, split, skinned, and boned|
|Cooking oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Spaghetti sauce mix||1 Tablespoon (1 Envelope)|
|Canned tomato sauce||8 Ounce|
|Dry sherry||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned sliced mushrooms||3 Ounce, drained|
|Frozen artichoke hearts||9 Ounce, cooked, drained (1 Package)|
Preheat oven to 350Â°.
In skillet brown the chicken in hot oil.
Meanwhile, combine sauce mix, tomato sauce, sherry, and 1/4 cup water.
Simmer 10 minutes; stir in mushrooms.
Transfer chicken to 10x6x2 inch baking dish.
Arrange artichokes around chicken; spoon sauce mixture over all.
Bake, covered, at 350Â° for 45 minutes.
