Sweet And Sour Chicken With Almonds
|Oil||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Frying)|
|Canned sweet and sour sauce||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can Of 10.5 Ounce)|
|Canned apricot halves||16 Ounce, drained (1 Can Of 16 Ounce)|
|Sliced almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Heat the oil in a frying pan and sprinkle with the salt.
Add the chicken pieces and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
Drain well and remove all the flesh from the bone.
Place the sweet and sour sauce in a pan and add the apricots and chicken meat.
Add salt and pepper to taste and bring to the boil.
Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
Meanwhile toast the almonds.
Transfer the chicken to a warmed serving dish and sprinkle with the almonds.
Serve with boiled rice and stir fried vegetables.
