Chicken A La King
|Chicken breasts||2 Large|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||3 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Instant minced onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Frozen green peas||200 Gram (Cooked And Drained)|
|Sliced mushrooms||1 Can (10 oz) (Drained)|
|Sliced pimientos||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Drained)|
|Frozen patty shells||200 Gram (Baked According To Package Directions)|
Place chicken in a saucepan; add salt and water.
Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
Remove chicken; set aside to cool, reserving liquid.
When chicken is cool, remove skin and bones; dice meat and set aside.
Add enough milk to reserved liquid to make 2 cups liquid.
Melt butter over low heat; add flour and cook until bubbly, stirring constantly.
Pour in reserved liquid gradually, stirring constantly until thickened.
Add Worcestershire sauce; stir.
Bring sauce to a boil.
Lower heat and add onion, peas, mushrooms, pimientos, salt, pepper and diced chicken.
Simmer until heated through; spoon into prepared patty shells and serve.
