Hot And Spicy Chicken Livers
|Olive oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Onion||1 Medium, sliced|
|Garlic||3 Clove (15 gm), chopped|
|Chicken livers||1 Pound, trimmed and washed|
|Chili powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Tabasco/Other hot sauce||2 Dash|
|Dry red wine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Parsley||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
Melt butter and oil in frying pan over medium heat.
Saute onion and garlic until golden.
Turn heat to high and add cleaned chicken livers.
Sear and brown quickly, then sprinkle with all seasonings.
Turn heat to medium and continue frying a few minutes.
Add wine and parsley to pan, cover, and simmer 3 minutes.
Serve over rice or pasta.
Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and/or red pepper flakes, if desired.
