Mock Chicken Almond

Ingredients
  Mild bulk pork sausage 2 Pound
  Onions 2 , chopped
  Green bell peppers 2 , diced
  Celery ribs 4 , chopped
  Canned chicken soup 40 Ounce
  Uncooked long grain rice 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Boiling water 9 Cup (144 tbs)
  Silvered almonds 6 Ounce
Directions

Brown the sausage in a skillet, stirring to prevent lumps.
Remove the sausage from the skillet, leaving the drippings.
Saute the onions, green peppers and celery in the drippings; drain on a paper towel.
Place the sausage, onion mixture, soup and rice in 1 or 2 large baking dishes.
Stir in the boiling water.
Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes.
Remove from oven and stir.
Add the almonds and stir again.
Return to oven.
Bake for 10 minutes longer.
